Getting started
Submit your shop
Business info, dealer references, payment methods you accept, and whether you plan to buy, sell, or both. You receive a reference ID to track status.
Human review
We verify references and shop credentials before enabling marketplace access. Typical turnaround is 1–3 business days. Check application status.
Membership & permissions
Approved dealers get buy and/or sell access based on intent. Founding dealers and SpotPro subscribers receive complimentary access — see pricing.
Important: Coin Dealer X is a platform only. We do not buy inventory, hold funds in escrow, or guarantee transactions between dealers. Membership vetting is not an endorsement of any specific deal.
02 · Inventory
Types of listings
Catalog items
U.S. coins, world coins, currency, supplies — fixed price or make-offer. Ideal for graded material, singles, and priced wholesale lines.
Fixed / offer
Live bullion
Spot + premium pricing on silver, gold, platinum, and junk silver. Prices refresh with live feeds; sellers can set auto-delist floors.
Bullion Spot + premium
Bulk lots
Off-inventory wholesale boxes — mixed junk, foreign bins, show leftovers. Often priced per face or as negotiated lots, not SKU-by-SKU.
Bulk lot Per face / offer
Pricing modes
- Fixed price — dollar amount; add to cart when buy access is enabled.
- Make offer — message the seller to negotiate; no cart checkout until terms are agreed.
- Greysheet+ — dealer formula pricing on catalog material where configured.
- Spot + premium — live bullion math from metal feed + your premium (flat or percent on gold).
- Per face — bulk/junk lots priced as a multiple of face value.
03 · Buy side
Buying wholesale
- Browse the marketplace by category — filter catalog, bullion, and bulk lanes.
- Watch listings you are tracking; get alerts when prices or availability change.
- Add to cart on fixed-price and live-priced lines (make-offer listings require messaging first).
- Checkout — cart splits into one order per seller. Choose payment method and ship vs. pickup per seller.
- Pay the seller using their instructions on the order page (wire, ACH, Zelle, cash in person, or card if they accept it).
- Track status in Purchases until the seller marks shipped and you confirm receipt.
Buy access is granted at approval based on your application intent. If you need buyer permissions added later, contact info@spotpro.us.
04 · Sell side
Selling & listing inventory
Create listings
- Catalog listing — coins, currency, supplies with photos and description.
- Bullion listing — spot-linked pricing, weight, purity, premium.
- Bulk lot — lot contents, estimated counts, face value, as-is terms.
- Upload images and video on the listing page after publish.
Storefront & payments setup
- Build your dealer storefront — logo, banner, tagline, public dealer page.
- Configure payment settings — wire/ACH instructions, Zelle, cash-in-person pickup notes, and optional card processor keys.
- Buyers only see payment rails you enable on each listing and at checkout.
Manage active inventory from My Listings; incoming deals appear under Sales with pending-order counts on your dashboard.
05 · Communication
Messaging
Listing inquiries
From any listing, buyers with buy access can message the seller — ideal for make-offer lines, bulk negotiation, pickup coordination, or clarifying grade and holder details. Each buyer/seller/listing combo gets a thread.
Order threads
Every order can open a dedicated message thread linked to that deal — payment confirmations, tracking, partial shipments, and pickup scheduling stay attached to the order record.
Unread counts appear in the header. Order and message events also surface in Alerts.
06 · Settlement
Payment options
Payment is arranged directly between buyer and seller. Coin Dealer X records your chosen method and displays seller instructions — we are not a payment processor for dealer-to-dealer settlement except where a seller opts into card capture on their own merchant account.
Seller posts wire instructions on the order. Buyer sends from their bank; seller marks paid when funds land.
Bank transfer details provided by seller. Confirm memo/reference on the order timeline.
Seller's Zelle email or phone shown at checkout. Buyer pays outside the platform; seller confirms receipt.
Pay at pickup or a pre-arranged meeting. Seller posts address or show hours; marks paid after cash is received.

07 · Fulfillment
Order & sales process
Each checkout creates an order with a timeline both parties can update. Live bullion lines are price-snapshotted at checkout; spot may move before payment clears.
Buyer checklist
- Review order total and payment method on the order page.
- Send payment per seller instructions; use the order thread for questions.
- Mark receipt when the package arrives or pickup is complete.
- Cancel only while order is still pending if plans change.
Seller checklist
- Confirm or decline new orders from Sales.
- Mark paid when your bank shows funds (wire/ACH/Zelle), card settles, or cash is handed off in person.
- Add tracking when shipped, or note pickup details.
- Complete the order when the buyer confirms — or coordinate via messages.
08 · POS integration
SpotPro subscribers
Active SpotPro shops receive Coin Dealer X wholesale access at no extra charge. SpotPro POS remains your inventory system of record — CBD is the dealer-to-dealer lane for wholesale discovery and deal flow.
Bullion and catalog lines can align with SpotPro pricing logic; outlist sync helps keep wholesale listings current without double entry.
